Woodside Music Photo Keepsakes

An ongoing service from the Music Boosters

Opt out of shared photos

If you would rather your student not appear in shared photos, send us one photo of them. We use it to recognize them in band photos, and we will not share any photo where they appear among four or fewer people. Larger crowd shots, like a full-band photo, can still include them. There is no cost, and you do not need to enroll.

Only the first name and last initial are kept, and they are shown only as "First L."
A clear, recent photo of just your student, face visible (a selfie works). It is used only to keep them out of shared photos. Any size is fine (up to 25 MB); your device shrinks it before sending.

🔒 What happens with this photo

  • What we keep: the first name, last initial, the one photo, and your email if you give one.
  • What it's for: finding your student in band photos so we can hold back any photo where they appear among four or fewer people. Nothing else.
  • What we won't do: sell it, share it, or use it for advertising or AI training.
  • Photos are checked by a booster volunteer before each gallery update, so there can be a short delay.
  • How long we keep it: for as long as the opt-out stands, so we can keep honoring it. It is stored privately, only booster staff can see it, and it is never published.
  • Changed your mind or have a question? Use the Feedback link below and we will update the list.
